As of the 1st Of December 2006, Grupotel owns and manages Grupotel Gravina 3* establishment, situated in the heart of Barcelona.

The Grupotel Gravina 3* joins our chain with the purpose of widening our product to include a city hotel for business clients and conferences and to permit us the possibility to introduce our brand, in a destination, new to us, such as Barcelona.

The Grupotel Gravina 3*, is situated just a few metres from the “Plaza Catalunya”, consisting of 84 bedrooms constructed in a romantic building dated back to the XIX century  and was completely renovated during 2006, offers its guests all the necessary amenities, including two conference rooms.

Grupotel is one of the leading hotel enterprises on the Balearic Islands. Miguel Ramis, our president, opened his first hotel in Majorca in 1968.

Today, the traveller can choose from among thirty-four hotels ranging from three to five stars and distributed throughout Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza, and, as from December 1st, 2006, also from one property in Barcelona.

The majority of our establishments are located on the beach or in it vicinity with excellent gardens and parks.
